October 2025 Edition

Fall is in full swing, and we're excited to share our October plans! Last month, our little artists created beautiful artwork that showcased their creativity and growing skills. As we move into October, we have many fun activities planned, including Halloween celebrations and the official start of our new Pre-K curriculum.

September Artwork Showcase
Throughout September, our students explored various art techniques! Their artwork displayed impressive development in fine motor skills and creative expression. These projects helped students practice color recognition, shape identification, and storytelling through visual arts. Look for these masterpieces coming home in your child's Take Home Folder!

October Calendar: Mark Your Dates!
Here are the important events happening this month. Please note these dates in your calendar to ensure your child is prepared for all the fun activities.

October 31
Pajama/Movie Day
Fall pictures will be taken on this day. Please dress your child in their favorite Fall style, but avoid GREEN clothing as it will conflict with the photography background.
Please bring a labeled pumpkin by this date. We'll provide paint and decorations for a fun creative activity!
Students may wear costumes to school. Please ensure costumes are suitable for potty breaks and playground activities. We'll have treats, games, and a mini costume parade!
Children can wear jammies with shoes for comfort during our special spooky movie viewing.
As a reminder, every Friday is Pajama Day! Children can wear comfortable pajamas to school each Friday of the month.

Pre-K Curriculum Launch
October marks the official start of our new Pre-K school year curriculum. This month, we'll focus on fall-themed learning activities, letter recognition (letters A, B, and C), numbers 1-3, and basic shapes.
Important Reminders for Parents
Take Home Folders will be sent home daily containing important reports, completed artwork, and parent communications. Please check folders each evening and return them the following day.
Please do not send toys, jewelry, or removable items with your child to school. These can become distractions during learning activities or get lost during play.
With cooler weather approaching, please ensure your child brings a labeled jacket or sweater for outdoor play time.
Update emergency contact information if there have been any changes to phone numbers or addresses.

We're looking forward to a fantastic month of learning and Fall fun! As always, please reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We appreciate your partnership in your child's educational journey.
Warmly, The Watch Me Grow Team
